Start Building Real Tech Skills.
Learn the skills to go from basic circuits to designing working electronic systems.
Sensors Integration
Sensors are devices that can be used to detect the various changes in our surrounding environment. Sensors effectively measure changes in physical properties such as temperature, humidity, light, and sound. Sensors are widely used in automatic control systems, monitoring systems, and preventive protocol systems.
What Are Tech Kit Modules?
Tech Kits are part of the walk-in service provided by Innovate Labs. Three levels of difficulty are designed for different experience levels — many kits build on one another as you progress.
Beginner
Run a Practical Circuit with Arduino
Length: 30 Minutes Description: In the beginner tech kit, students will learn how to integrate sensors with an Arduino to build interactive circuits. Participants will explore how sensors detect changes in the environment and how to use code to control outputs like LEDs, buzzers, and displays. By the end of the session, students will build a functional security system that responds to sound, light, and pressure inputs.Intermediate
Illustrate Responsive IoT Systems
Length: 45 Minutes Description: In this intermediate tech kits, students will build a gesture-controlled DJ board using ultrasonic sensors and buzzers. Participants will measure distance in real time and program their system to produce different tones based on hand movement. Along the way, students will analyze sensor accuracy, latency, and system responsiveness to improve performance.Advanced

Beginner
Operate Smart Automation with Alexa
Length: 30 MinutesDescription: In this beginner-friendly Innovate Labs Tech Kit, participants explore how connected devices and smart automation work using Amazon Alexa . Students create a custom voice-triggered routine that controls smart lab lamps, gaining hands-on experience with Internet of Things (IoT) technology and real-world automation applications.
Intermediate
Analyze IoT Sensor Networks
Length: 45 MinutesDescription: In this Tech Kit, participants explore how smart home devices like motion sensors and Ring doorbells collect and communicate data, then connect them through Alexa routines to create responsive automation systems. Build and test custom monitoring routines while analyzing real time sensor activity to better understand how connected devices interact within an IoT network.
